Bags without closure

Put them in, close them, done: bags without closure are the simplest and most cost-effective way to pack goods cleanly. At the counter, in the warehouse, in the shop or as a small gift.

Seal them however suits you best: with a clip, label, packing tape or heat sealer. From tie sleeves to pallet covers, made of film, paper or compostable cellophane.

Do you need your bag to be resealable? Then take a look at our Bags with closure.

How to find the right bag

What size do I need?

Measure your goods and add 1 to 2 cm to each side. If they are thicker than a few millimetres, add the thickness to both the width and the length. The dimensions in the shop are always stated as width × length in millimetres. For bags with a base or side gusset, the depth is indicated with a plus sign, e.g. 70 + 40 × 205 mm.

Can I put food inside?

Yes, in all bags marked with the "Food safe" switch. Bags made from recycled film are not intended for this. Cellulose is suitable for dry, non-greasy food.

How thick should the film be?

25 µm (0.025 mm) is sufficient for light items such as textiles, brochures or baked goods. 50 µm is the all-rounder for everyday use. 100 µm is extra strong: for heavy or angular parts such as screws and spare parts.

How do I close the bag?

However you like: with a clip, label, packing tape or rubber band. Film bags can also be securely sealed using a film heat sealer. Cellulose bags can be closed with a clip or label.

Where to after use?

What is the difference between LDPE and HDPE bags?

LDPE film is soft, stretchy and crystal clear. HDPE film is milky, crackly and stiffer and more tear-resistant at the same thickness. That is why 20 or 25 µm is often sufficient for HDPE flat bags.

Are there flat bags on a tear-off block?

Yes, HDPE flat bags on a tear-off block with a Euro hole for hanging on the counter or at the packing station. They are also available loose without a Euro hole.

Which bags fit pallets and boxes?

Transparent LDPE pallet covers and side gusset bags are available for entire pallets, and matching HDPE side gusset bags for E2 and E3 crates.

Are there bags with motifs, e.g. for Christmas?

Yes: OPP bottom gusset bags with the motifs "Winter Landscape", "Merry Christmas" and "Gold Stars" as well as bottom gusset bags made of cellulose with gold stars.
