Recipients of personal data
As part of our business activities, we work with various external bodies. In some cases, this also requires the transmission of personal data to these external bodies. We only pass on personal data to external bodies if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing on data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in passing it on, or if another legal basis permits the data transfer. When using processors, we only pass on our customers' personal data on the basis of a valid contract for order processing. In the case of joint processing, a joint processing agreement is concluded.
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at the time of your choice. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement, if they consider that the processing of personal data relating to them infringes the GDPR.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.
Access, rectification, and erasure
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, and, where applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this or any other questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing applies in the following cases:
- If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data may—with the exception of storage—only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this page uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.
When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

If there is an obligation to transmit your payment data to us after the conclusion of a contract requiring payment (e.g., account number for direct debit), this data is required for payment processing.

4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
Our internet pages use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or an automated deletion is carried out by your web browser.
Cookies can originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services of third-party companies within web pages (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies can be used to analyse user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are required to carry out electronic communication, to provide certain functions requested by you (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
If further cookies and services are used on this website, you can find details in this privacy policy.

Our website uses CCM19 to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your device or to the use of certain technologies and to document this in a data protection-compliant manner. The provider of this technology is Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Auguststr. 4, 53229 Bonn, Germany (hereinafter referred to as "CCM19").
When you visit our website, a connection is established to the CCM19 servers in order to obtain your consent and other declarations regarding the use of cookies. CCM19 then stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to assign the consent given or the revocation thereof to you. The data collected in this way is stored until you request us to delete it, delete the CCM19 cookie yourself or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
CCM19 is used to obtain the legally prescribed consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Data processing agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the aforementioned service. This is a contract required by data protection laws that ensures that the service processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not combined with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.
The server log files are automatically deleted after 4 weeks.
Protection against automated access (bot protection)
To protect our shop against automated mass retrieval (e.g. by scrapers or scripts) and against overloading, we check incoming requests on our server. For this purpose, we process the IP address, the browser identifier (user agent), the requested address and the time of the request. This check does not apply to logged-in customers.
We briefly count how many requests are received from an IP address; the counter applies for one minute in each case. If an IP address exceeds a specified number of requests or if a request recognisably originates from an automated program, we reject it and, if necessary, block the IP address for a few minutes. We log rejected requests with the time, IP address, reason for rejection, requested address and browser identifier. The log comprises a maximum of the rejections of the last 7 days and a maximum of 300 entries; older entries are automatically removed.
Processing takes place exclusively on our own server; data is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in ensuring the security and availability of our shop and preventing unauthorised automated reading of our content.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of enquiries addressed to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this was requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Questions about items (enquiry form)
On our product pages, you can ask us a question about the item using a form. In doing so, we process your name, your email address, your question, the item you are asking about, and the time. This information is stored in our shop system and is only used to answer your question. We do not pass it on without your consent.
The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, provided that your enquiry is related to a contract or is necessary for the preparation of a contract. In all other cases, it is based on our legitimate interest in responding to customer enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
The data will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Enquiry by email, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.
The data you send to us via contact enquiries will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

We use Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) for our email boxes and for sending emails from our shop – e.g. order and shipping confirmations, invoices, notifications and newsletters. The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland.
If you write an email to us or we send you an email, your email address, your name, the content of the message including attachments as well as technical connection and dispatch data will be processed on Microsoft's servers. According to Microsoft, customer data from the European Union is stored in data centres within the EU. Nevertheless, a transfer of data to Microsoft Corporation in the USA cannot be ruled out.
The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if the emails serve to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures, for the newsletter on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interest in secure and reliable email communication (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

For important changes, such as changes to the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we will use the email address provided during registration to inform you.
The data entered during registration is processed for the purpose of executing the user relationship established by the registration and, where applicable, for initiating further contracts (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
The data collected during registration is stored by us for as long as you are registered on this website and is subsequently deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

WooCommerce Order Attribution (Sourcebuster)
If you consent to the "Analytics / Statistics" category in our cookie banner, we use the order attribution feature of our WooCommerce shop system. This shows us how customers found our shop, e.g. via a search engine, an advert, a link on another website or a newsletter.
To do this, the Sourcebuster script stores cookies on your device (sbjs_migrations, sbjs_current_add, sbjs_first_add, sbjs_current, sbjs_first, sbjs_udata, sbjs_session). These record the origin of your visit (type of source, referring website, campaign parameters such as utm_source or utm_campaign), the landing page, the start of the session, the number of pages viewed as well as the device type and browser identifier. The cookies are short-lived and only apply to your current visit. If you complete an order, this information is stored in our shop along with the order data.
The data is processed exclusively on our own server and is not passed on to third parties. We retain the origin information for as long as the associated order data is kept.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications and Telemedia Data Protection Act (TDDDG). You can revoke your consent at any time via the "Your cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
6. Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We use newsletter service providers for the administration of the newsletter, which are described below.
MailPoet (local installation)
This website uses MailPoet to send newsletters. The provider is Aut O’Mattic A8C Ireland Ltd., Business Centre, No.1 Lower Mayor Street, International Financial Services Centre, Dublin 1, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as MailPoet).

We can also see whether certain pre-defined actions were carried out after opening/clicking (conversion rate). For example, we can see whether you made a purchase after clicking the newsletter.
MailPoet also enables us to categorise ("cluster") newsletter recipients based on various categories. Newsletter recipients can be categorised by age, gender or place of residence, for example. This allows the newsletters to be better adapted to the respective target groups. If you do not want your data analysed by MailPoet, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link for this purpose in every newsletter message.
Legal basis
Data processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent for the future at any time.
Storage period
The data you provide us with for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe or when the purpose ceases to apply. We reserve the right to delete or block email addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored in a blacklist if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is used solely for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interests and our interests in complying with statutory requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). There is no time limit on storage in the blacklist. You may object to storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

Friendly Captcha
We use Friendly Captcha (hereinafter referred to as "Friendly Captcha") on this website. The provider is Friendly Captcha GmbH, Am Anger 3-5, 82237 Wörthsee, Germany.
Friendly Captcha is used to check whether the data entry on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated program. To this end, Friendly Captcha analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. For the analysis, Friendly Captcha evaluates various information (e.g. anonymised IP address, referrer, time of visit, etc.). Further information on this can be found at: https://friendlycaptcha.com/legal/privacy-end-users/.
The storage and analysis of the data are based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated espionage and from SPAM. If corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's terminal equipment (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Data processing agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the aforementioned service. This is a contract required by data protection laws that ensures that the service processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Weglot
Our website is also available in English. We use the Weglot service for the translation. The provider is Weglot SAS, 7 cité Paradis, 75010 Paris, France (hereinafter Weglot).
The translation runs via our server: if a page is accessed in English, our server transmits the texts of this page to Weglot and receives the translation back. Weglot stores the translated texts so that they can be reused the next time the page is accessed. As a rule, your browser does not establish a direct connection to Weglot. The exceptions are the shopping cart and the checkout of the English pages, which are only generated in your browser: there, your browser loads a script from Weglot (cdn.weglot.com) and retrieves the translations of the displayed texts directly from Weglot; in the process, Weglot receives your IP address. The address that you provide at the checkout is exempt from this. The script stores the selected language and translations that have already been loaded in the local storage of your browser (wglang, wg-translations). This storage is necessary for the English version you have selected (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG). If a page contains personal information – such as your name or address in your customer account or at the checkout – this information may also be transmitted to Weglot. According to its own statements, Weglot processes the data on servers in the European Union.
The use of Weglot is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in making our offering accessible to customers who do not speak German. Insofar as information from your customer account or your order is processed in the process, the legal basis is additionally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
For further information, please refer to Weglot's privacy policy: https://www.weglot.com/privacy.
Data processing agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the aforementioned service. This is a contract required by data protection laws that ensures that the service processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
8. eCommerce and payment service providers
Processing of customer and contract data
We collect, process and use personal customer and contract data for the establishment, content design and modification of our contractual relationships. Personal data regarding the use of this website (usage data) is only collected, processed and used by us to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship and expiry of any existing statutory retention periods. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Data transmission upon conclusion of a contract for online shops, dealers and goods shipping
When you order goods from us, we pass on your personal data to the transport company entrusted with the delivery and to the payment service provider commissioned with the payment processing. Only such data is disclosed that the respective service provider requires to fulfil its task. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. If you have given corresponding consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, we will pass on your email address to the transport company entrusted with the delivery so that they can inform you of the shipping status of your order by email; you can revoke your consent at any time.
Notification of availability (waiting list)
If an item is out of stock, you can sign up for a waiting list on the product page. We will then notify you by email as soon as the item is available again. For this purpose, we process your email address and the desired item.
After signing up, you will receive an email with a confirmation link. Your registration only becomes effective once you click this link (double opt-in). We are informed of new registrations internally by email.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. As soon as we have notified you of the availability, your entry will be automatically deleted. You can revoke your consent at any time, e.g. by sending us an email; we will then delete your entry promptly.
Uploading print templates
For orders with individual printing (e.g. logo printing or printed cardboard boxes), you can upload your print templates in your customer account for the respective order as soon as it has the status "Print template". PDF, JPG and PNG files up to 5 MB per file are possible; you can provide a comment for each file.
We store the files with your comment in a protected directory on our server that is not publicly accessible, and assign them to your order. We are notified of every upload by email. Only you and our employees processing your order have access to the files; we only pass on print templates to external print service providers if we have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with them. Print templates generally contain logos and company details; if they contain personal data, e.g. names or contact details, we use these exclusively for the production of the ordered print.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We store the files for as long as they are required for processing the order, for reorders and for handling complaints. At your request, we will delete them earlier, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.
Payment services
We integrate payment services from third-party companies on our website. When you make a purchase from us, your payment details (e.g. name, payment amount, bank details, credit card number) are processed by the payment service provider for the purpose of payment processing. The respective contractual and data protection provisions of the respective providers apply to these transactions. The use of payment service providers is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract fulfilment) and in the interest of a smooth, convenient and secure payment process as possible (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Insofar as your consent is requested for certain actions, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis for data processing; consent can be revoked at any time for the future.
