Q: Are the bags also suitable for vacuum sealing?

No. These are not vacuum sealer bags . Unfortunately, we do not stock these in our standard range.

Q: Which bags are suitable for food?

Bags suitable for direct food contact have a declaration of food compliance, which is stated in the item description. An overview can be found on the page " Food packaging at a glance ".

Q: What does "50 µm" mean?

µm indicates the film thickness: 50 µm is 0.05 mm. The thicker the film, the sturdier the bag. As a general guide: 50 µm is the "quasi-standard" and well-suited for most applications.

Q: Grip seal or slider: What is the difference?

Grip seal bags are closed by pressing the profile strip together. Slider bags are closed using a slider. Both can be repeatedly opened and closed.

Q: Are there bags made from recycled material or bioplastics?

Yes, for example grip seal bags made from PCR recycled granulate and recycled LDPE film, as well as bags made from PLA or cellophane.

HDPE flat bags (blocked) – practical, hygienic & recyclable

Our flat bags made of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene, 10 to 17 µm) are primarily used in the food retail sector. The transparent bags are supplied on a block, making them particularly easy and efficient to remove. Thanks to the integrated perforation, each bag can be cleanly torn off individually and used immediately.

The block is equipped with two suspension holes and can be easily attached to wall holders or sales counters. This means the bags are always within easy reach — for hygienic, fast working at counters, in bakeries, butchers, delicatessens, or at fruit and vegetable displays.
