Products on rolls

Cut off exactly as much as you need directly from the roll. This is practical when your goods vary in length or when you have a lot to pack.

You can make bags of any length using tubular film: cut to size, insert the goods, heat seal. We also offer packing paper and bubble wrap for cushioning, stretch film for securing, and packing tape for the cardboard box.

How to find the right roll

What is tubular film?

Imagine an endless bag: the film is closed on both sides. You cut off the length you need and heat seal the ends. Centre-folded film is open on one side, which makes it easy to wrap items in.

What width do I need?

For a cardboard box or parcel, the rule of thumb is: width plus height of the goods, plus 2 to 3 cm of leeway. A cardboard box measuring 30 cm wide and 10 cm high therefore requires tubular film with a width of a good 42 cm.

How thick should the film be?

Thin film is sufficient for lightweight items such as textiles or brochures. Heavy or sharp-edged items require thicker film to prevent punctures. Black film is opaque, so you cannot see what is inside.

Is there recycled film available too?

Yes. Our rLDPE tubular films are made from 50 or 100 percent recycled film. They are not intended for food packaging; for that purpose, please use transparent LDPE tubular film.

Which stretch film fits my handheld dispenser?

Our stretch film for handheld dispensers is 50 cm wide, has around 275 m per roll and a 50 mm core, suitable for standard handheld dispensers. It is available in 17, 20 and 23 µm, transparent or black. Black film makes the load opaque. The film is sticky on the inside and smooth on the outside so that pallets do not stick together on the lorry.

What do I use to seal the tubular film?

With a film sealer. Our impulse bar sealer seals and cuts film up to 2 × 200 µm and requires no pre-heating time. Sealing lengths of 200, 320 and 400 mm are available. Choose one that is at least as long as your film is wide.

What are pallet cover sheets used for?

They cover the goods on the pallet from above and keep out dust, moisture and dirt. The pallet cover sheets measure 1,200 × 1,600 mm and are perforated on a roll, so you simply tear one off. Place the sheet on top and then wrap the pallet with stretch film. They are available in black LDPE or transparent HDPE, with a thickness of 25 to 40 µm.

Which wrapping paper should I use for what?

Bogus paper (grey chipboard paper roll, 80 or 100 g/m², brown) for scrunching and filling. White kraft paper (40 or 50 g/m²) and brown ribbed wrapping paper (70 g/m²) for wrapping. Tissue paper in 37 × 50 cm sheets for textiles and delicate surfaces.

Which packing tape should I use for my cardboard boxes?

For everyday use, use plastic packing tape in transparent or brown, or paper packing tape (solvent-free). If the packing tape should match your brand, choose the coloured packing tape made of PP: eight colours, 50 mm wide, 66 m per roll, quiet unwind.

Is there packing tape with warning notices?

Yes, red warning packing tape, 50 mm wide, 66 m per roll, with trilingual print (German, English, French): "Vorsicht Glas" (Fragile - Glass), "Vorsicht zerbrechlich" (Handle with care), "Bruchgefahr" (Risk of breakage), "Gesperrt" (Blocked), "Hochempfindliche elektrische Geräte" (Highly sensitive electrical equipment), and "Rechnung/Lieferschein inliegend" (Invoice/Delivery note enclosed).
