Corrugated board boxes
Over 180 cardboard boxes made in Germany: single-wall for goods up to about 20 kg, double-wall for heavy and large goods up to about 30 kg, pallet boxes up to about 40 kg. The exact internal dimensions are shown on every item, every box has volume pricing, and almost all of them are also available printed with your logo.
Which cardboard box suits your goods?
Enter dimensions, done: We select the best-fitting box from over 180 options – including those you can adjust to size using height creasing lines.
We print your logo on cardboard boxes—and, upon request, can flexibly include the legally required information, such as material labeling in accordance with the EU Packaging Directive (PPWR). The prices listed here include standard printing on two adjacent sides (or one side); you can select printing on two opposite sides or all four sides on the product page.

Calculations are based on the nominal size of the box. The measured internal dimensions are shown with “approx.”; if they are slightly smaller than your goods, the box is marked “tight”. Manufacturing tolerances of a few millimetres are possible. Rotating the goods is taken into account. “Reduced” means the box has a height crease and can be folded down to this height. Unit prices as shown in the shop; the price in the cart applies.
Empty space is the portion of the box’s interior that your goods do not fill; padding and air count as empty space. We calculate this based on the measured interior dimensions (using the reduced height for boxes with height creases) and, for shipping envelopes, based on the space the envelope creates around your goods. This is a guideline; it is not a guaranteed characteristic. The EU Packaging Directive (PPWR, Art. 24) limits the void space in shipping and outer packaging to a maximum of 50% starting no earlier than 2030; the exact calculation method is still to be determined by the European Commission.
The classification according to the package sizes of DHL, Hermes, DPD, and GLS, as well as the letter sizes of Deutsche Post, is a guideline based on the estimated external dimensions of the empty box and is not a guaranteed characteristic. Please check the dimensions and weight of your packed box yourself before shipping; the carrier’s current terms and conditions apply. The specified volume is for informational purposes only: Depending on their contracts, some carriers charge for large, lightweight packages based on volumetric weight or impose surcharges for bulky packages. Where we are aware of a surcharge, the note “Surcharge possible” will appear on the box.
Single-wall or double-wall: the right corrugated board
The flute determines how much weight a box can carry, how well it stacks and how much it cushions the goods. As a rule of thumb for our cardboard boxes: single-wall up to about 20 kg, double-wall above that and for large sizes.
Single-wall cardboard boxes
One layer of fluting between two liners. E flute is fine and has a smooth surface that prints well; it suits small, light goods up to about 10 kg. B flute is the standard for parcel shipping and carries up to about 20 kg. C flute is thicker, cushions more and carries 20 to 25 kg. All single-wall boxes: Single-wall corrugated board.
Double-wall cardboard boxes
Two layers of fluting and three layers of paper. EB flute (sometimes BE in the item data) combines a fine E flute with a B flute and carries 20 to 30 kg. BC flute is the sturdiest grade in our range: about 30 kg, up to about 40 kg as a pallet box. It is used for heavy and large goods, picture boxes and shipping on pallets. All double-wall boxes: Double-wall corrugated board.

Height creases, self-adhesive closure and box styles
Boxes with height creases
These boxes have additional crease lines in the side walls. Cut the four corners down to the crease you need and fold the flaps over there. The box becomes lower, the goods sit more firmly and you need less void fill. The possible heights are shown on the item under “Height creases”. All boxes with this option: Multi-depth boxes.
Self-adhesive closure and crash-lock bottom
Boxes with a self-adhesive closure are sealed without tape; you can filter for them in the Box Finder. Boxes with a crash-lock bottom (FEFCO 0703) come pre-glued: the bottom folds into place by itself when you open the box. To choose from: Boxes with crash-lock bottom.
Box styles according to FEFCO
Most of our cardboard boxes are FEFCO 0201: four flaps at the top and four at the bottom, with the outer flaps meeting in the middle. There are also die-cut folding boxes (FEFCO 0426 and 0427), picture boxes (FEFCO 0409), pallet boxes and a bottle box with dividers. Most boxes are brown; some sizes are white on the outside.
Printing cardboard boxes with your logo
Almost all cardboard boxes are also available printed. We print your logo on the box in our own digital print shop and, on request, the material information for labelling under the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Choose a size and configure the print: Custom-printed boxes.

Frequently asked questions about cardboard boxes
When is a single-wall box enough, and when do I need a double-wall one?
Up to about 20 kg, a single-wall box with B or C flute is usually enough; for small, light goods up to about 10 kg, E flute will also do. For heavier goods, large sizes, stacked consignments and shipping on pallets, use double-wall boxes with BC flute. You will find the guide value for the load capacity on every item.
Which dimension do I need to select?
The size in the item name is the nominal size in millimetres (length × width × height). The exact internal dimensions are shown on the item under “Specifications at a glance”; for around a third of the boxes they are a few millimetres smaller. Measure your goods and add room for padding on each side, for example 10 to 30 mm. The Box Finder at the top of this page includes the padding, turns the goods into every position, takes height creases into account and tells you when the fit is tight.
Can I reduce the height of a box that is too tall?
Yes, if the box has height creases: cut the corners down to the crease and fold the flaps over. The possible heights are shown on the item.
What are the cardboard boxes made of?
Corrugated board (material code PAP 20), made from recycled and/or virgin fibres depending on the item, without aluminium and made in Germany. The boxes are not intended for direct contact with food.
How are the cardboard boxes delivered and stored?
Folded flat. How many boxes a package contains is shown on the item under “Quantity per package”. Store the boxes dry at 15 to 25 °C and about 50% relative humidity so that they keep their strength.
How do I dispose of cardboard boxes?
Remove the tape, fold the box flat and put it in the waste paper or corrugated board collection.
Is there a volume discount?
Yes, every cardboard box has volume pricing: above certain quantities the unit price falls. You can see the tiers on the item.
