Double-wall corrugated board boxes
About 70 boxes made of double-wall corrugated board for heavy, large, and long items: cardboard boxes up to 1.6 m in length, picture boxes, and pallet boxes with a base area of 1,200 × 800 mm. Most can hold about 30 kg, while pallet boxes can hold up to about 40 kg. The exact internal dimensions are listed for each item; each box comes with volume pricing; and almost all can be printed with your logo.

Calculations are based on the nominal size of the box. The measured internal dimensions are shown with “approx.”; if they are slightly smaller than your goods, the box is marked “tight”. Manufacturing tolerances of a few millimetres are possible. Rotating the goods is taken into account. “Reduced” means the box has a height crease and can be folded down to this height. Unit prices as shown in the shop; the price in the cart applies.
Empty space is the portion of the box’s interior that your goods do not fill; padding and air count as empty space. We calculate this based on the measured interior dimensions (using the reduced height for boxes with height creases) and, for shipping envelopes, based on the space the envelope creates around your goods. This is a guideline; it is not a guaranteed characteristic. The EU Packaging Directive (PPWR, Art. 24) limits the void space in shipping and outer packaging to a maximum of 50% starting no earlier than 2030; the exact calculation method is still to be determined by the European Commission.
The classification according to the package sizes of DHL, Hermes, DPD, and GLS, as well as the letter sizes of Deutsche Post, is a guideline based on the estimated external dimensions of the empty box and is not a guaranteed characteristic. Please check the dimensions and weight of your packed box yourself before shipping; the carrier’s current terms and conditions apply. The specified volume is for informational purposes only: Depending on their contracts, some carriers charge for large, lightweight packages based on volumetric weight or impose surcharges for bulky packages. Where we are aware of a surcharge, the note “Surcharge possible” will appear on the box.
BC or EB flute: two flute layers for heavy shipments
Double-wall corrugated board has two flute layers and three paper layers. It is significantly more rigid and stackable than single-wall corrugated board and offers better cushioning. There are two combinations available in our range.

Formats at a glance
Cardboard boxes
A good 40 cardboard boxes up to 900 mm in length, ranging from the small 150 × 150 × 200 mm to the large 800 × 600 × 600 mm, including cube-shaped boxes such as 300 × 300 × 300 or 600 × 600 × 600 mm. About 30 double-wall boxes feature a height crease that allows you to adjust the height to fit your goods: multi-depth boxes.
Long cardboard boxes
14 cardboard boxes are 1,000 to 1,600 mm long, for example 1,200 × 200 × 200 mm or 1,600 × 150 × 150 mm. They are suitable for long items such as rods, profiles, rolls, or furniture parts.
Picture boxes
Nine flat picture boxes (FEFCO 0409) from 340 × 250 × 50 mm to 1,250 × 1,050 × 100 mm, for example for pictures, frames, mirrors or panels.
Pallet boxes
Three pallet boxes with a 1,200 × 800 mm base area and a height of 580, 780 or 1,100 mm, with internal dimensions of 1,180 × 780 mm. The tallest one features height scoring. Pallet boxes are not available printed.
Other designs
In addition, there is a bottle box with compartments (FEFCO 0203) and a crash-lock bottom box with self-adhesive closure: boxes with crash-lock bottoms.
Double-wall boxes with logo
With the exception of pallet boxes, all double-wall boxes are also available printed: with your logo using digital printing and, upon request, with material details for labelling in accordance with the EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR). To choose from: Printed double-wall boxes.
Frequently asked questions about double-wall boxes
When do I need a double-wall box?
When the goods weigh more than approx. 20 kg, when the box is large or long, when boxes are stacked or shipped on pallets, or when the goods require more cushioning. For lighter shipments, a single-wall box is usually sufficient: Single-wall cardboard boxes.
What is the difference between BC and EB-flute?
The BC-flute combines a B-flute with a C-flute and, at approx. 7 mm, is the strongest corrugated board in the range. The EB-flute combines a fine E-flute with a B-flute; at approx. 4.5 mm, it is thinner and lighter. In the article data, it is sometimes listed as BE.
How much weight can a double-wall box hold?
According to the article data, usually approx. 30 kg, while the pallet boxes and one other format hold approx. 40 kg. These are guide values; they depend on the format, the goods and the packing method.
Are there boxes for Euro pallets?
Yes, three pallet boxes with a footprint of 1,200 × 800 mm and a height of 580, 780 or 1,100 mm.
Are the dimensions internal or external dimensions?
The dimension given in the article name is the nominal size. The exact internal dimensions can be found under the article in "Data at a glance"; for about two out of five double-wall boxes, these are below the nominal size, usually by 5 to 25 mm. For formats such as 600 × 400 mm, the nominal size therefore roughly corresponds to the external dimensions: this box measures 585 × 385 mm on the inside.
