Q: Which bags are suitable for food?

Bags suitable for direct food contact have a declaration of food compliance, which is stated in the item description. An overview can be found on the page " Food packaging at a glance ".

Q: What does "50 µm" mean?

µm indicates the film thickness: 50 µm is 0.05 mm. The thicker the film, the sturdier the bag. As a general guide: 50 µm is the "quasi-standard" and well-suited for most applications.

Q: Grip seal or slider: What is the difference?

Grip seal bags are closed by pressing the profile strip together. Slider bags are closed using a slider. Both can be repeatedly opened and closed.

Q: Are there bags made from recycled material or bioplastics?

Yes, for example grip seal bags made from PCR recycled granulate and recycled LDPE film, as well as bags made from PLA or cellophane.

LDPE grip seal bags 90 µm – extra strong and highly durable

Recyclable, versatile, extremely robust and resealable

Our grip seal bags are made of 90 µm (0.09 mm) thick LDPE film, almost twice as thick as standard 50 µm bags. This makes them suitable for heavy, sharp-edged or delicate contents. The grip seal (double zipper) can be opened and closed repeatedly, keeping dust, dirt and moisture out.

Versions & special variants

We offer these grip seal bags in the following variants, which differ in application and function:

Standard version: The classic LDPE grip seal bag without additional features. Transparent, with a resealable grip seal. The standard version without extra features. For metal parts, screws, spare parts, tools, electronics or documents.
With write-on panel (or write-on strip / writing panel): Bags with a pre-printed or applied panel or strip for labelling (e.g. using a marker, label, etc.). This is helpful when many bags are in use and contents need to be identified quickly (e.g. parts, screws, samples, test pieces). With integrated writing panel for quick and clean labelling. For warehousing, samples, laboratories, spare parts or test pieces when contents need to be clearly identified.
With Euro slot / suspension hole: for presentation in retail or at trade fairs. The 90 µm film also allows heavier products to be hung on hooks or displays.
