For the packaging you purchase from us, the system participation fee in Germany is already included in the price. We report the quantities to the packaging registry at LUCID and pay the dual system fee. All you have to do is package your products.
We assume the manufacturer's responsibilities.
Anyone who fills packaging and ships it to customers in Germany is normally required to register it, report it, and pay a fee to a dual system. We've already taken care of that for you.

Envelopes, bags, boxes, and accessories: The fee is included whenever it is listed above the price.

Larger companies are manufacturers themselves and submit their packaging under their own contract. For them, there is the customer group “Self-Disposers.”

Frequently asked questions
Do I still need to register at LUCID ?
Not for the packaging you purchase from us. If you place additional packaging on the market yourself—for example, product packaging from another supplier—your own obligations apply.
How can I tell if the equity interest is included?
Above the price of each affected item, you’ll see the note “System participation in Germany … included in the price.” You’ll find the same confirmation listed for each item on your invoice.
What qualifies as a microenterprise?
The definition provided by the European Commission (Recommendation 2003/361/EC) is the authoritative one. It is based on the number of employees and either annual revenue or total assets. If you are unsure, please contact us.
I also ship internationally. What are the rules there?
The system fee included in the price applies to Germany. For shipments to other countries, the rules of the respective country apply. If you ship exclusively to other countries, please contact us. We’ll then determine which price is right for you.
