Grip seal bags with at least 50% PCR and GRS certification
Our grip seal bag made of 50 µm thick LDPE film contains at least 50% post-consumer recycled material and is suitable for both your own use and resale.
Product features
- Material combination: The bag consists of at least 50% PCR film (post-consumer recycled material). The remainder is virgin LDPE.
- GRS-certified: The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) logo is printed in white in the lower corner of the bag. This seal confirms the audited use of recycled materials along the supply chain.
- Recycling label: A white recycling symbol is printed at the top of the bag's lip. The bag is recyclable and can be returned to the material recycling cycle.
- Grip seal: can be opened and closed multiple times; the lip is angled and sealable.
- Film thickness: 50 µm (0.05 mm).
- Easy to label and write on: suitable for labels, product markings or handwriting.
- Clean inner packaging: The bags are packed in dust-proof bundles of 100 each.
- Note on application: The bags are not suitable for direct contact with food.
Why PCR material?
PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) refers to plastic that has already been used by end consumers, collected, sorted and reprocessed. The use of PCR material replaces virgin plastic made from fossil raw materials while maintaining the flexibility and resilience typical of LDPE.
PCR packaging in the context of EU legislation (PPWR 2026)
With the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which becomes mandatory from 2026, higher requirements are being placed on recyclability and the use of recycled materials. The aim is to make packaging more circular and gradually increase the proportion of post-consumer recycled material in plastic packaging. The minimum recycled content requirements apply from 2030.
In short: GRS certified, at least 50% PCR, 50 µm, 13 sizes from 40 × 60 mm to 400 × 600 mm. It is recyclable (mono-material LDPE) and used in retail, mail order and warehousing.
