Mailing bags
For everything that is flat and cannot break: clothing, books, documents or spare parts. A mailing bag is lighter than a box, takes up less space in the warehouse and is packed faster.
You can choose between film and paper. Film bags are tear-resistant, keep out the rain and are opaque. Bags made of kraft paper, corrugated board or solid board do not use plastic and can be recycled with waste paper after unpacking.
Heavy or fragile goods are better sent in a cardboard box.

How to find the right mailing bag
Film or paper?
Film is lightweight, tear-resistant and keeps out moisture. This makes it ideal for clothing and anything that cannot break. Paper and cardboard have a more premium feel, and your customers can simply dispose of the bag in the waste paper bin. The ECOMAILER carries the Blue Angel eco-label.
What size do I need?
Lay the goods flat and measure width and length. Add about 2 cm to each side, and add the thickness as well for bulky goods. The dimensions in the shop are always stated as width × length.
What is a return closure?
These bags have two adhesive strips. You use the first one to seal the shipment, and your customer uses the second one to send a return back in the same bag. They do not need a second packaging.
Can someone open the bag secretly?
No. The adhesive strip holds permanently, and you can see if anyone has opened the bag. Paper bags feature a tear strip for this: pull once, and the bag is open.
