How to package clothing correctly
What is a polybag?
A transparent film bag with a flap and adhesive strip. The garment is folded and placed inside, keeping it clean and dry while still allowing the contents to be seen. Polybags Premium are exceptionally clear, while ECOBAGS are made from recycled granulate.
What size do I need?
Fold the item the way it will be sent and measure the width and length. Add 2 to 3 cm on each side, or include the thickness for bulky jumpers or jackets. Our Bag Finder will calculate this for you.
Polybag and mailing bag combined?
Many retailers pack the item in a polybag first and then place it in a mailing bag. This keeps the goods protected even if the customer returns them. Bags with a return closure feature a second adhesive strip for this purpose.
How do I protect hanging clothes?
Garment covers are pulled over the hanger from above. They are available on a roll for tearing off and in extra-long versions for coats and dresses. Breathable protective bags made of polypropylene are ideal for longer-term storage.
