Kraft paper stand-up pouches with PLA inner layer — industrially compostable (with/without viewing window)

Our kraft paper stand-up pouches combine a natural look with high functionality. The pouches (also known as Doypacks) are made from kraft paper with an inner layer of PLA (polylactide, a bio-based plastic made from plant raw materials) and are free from any aluminium layer. They are industrially compostable in accordance with EN 13432 and certified by TÜV AUSTRIA.

Upon request, the pouches are available with a viewing window. This is slightly milky/translucent.

These compostable food packaging options are odourless and tasteless, and can be sealed using almost any standard impulse heat sealer. The base gusset of the pouch features the TÜV AUSTRIA conformity mark for industrial compostability as standard from the factory.

Suitability for fatty foods has not been confirmed. Products containing grease and oil are best packed in our standard stand-up pouches.

Barrier properties: water vapour permeability below 28 g/(m²·d), oxygen permeability below 37 cm³/(m²·d).
