Q: Which bags are suitable for food?

Bags suitable for direct food contact have a declaration of food compliance, which is stated in the item description. An overview can be found on the page " Food packaging at a glance ".

Q: What does "50 µm" mean?

µm indicates the film thickness: 50 µm is 0.05 mm. The thicker the film, the sturdier the bag. As a general guide: 50 µm is the "quasi-standard" and well-suited for most applications.

Q: Grip seal or slider: What is the difference?

Grip seal bags are closed by pressing the profile strip together. Slider bags are closed using a slider. Both can be repeatedly opened and closed.

Q: Are there bags made from recycled material or bioplastics?

Yes, for example grip seal bags made from PCR recycled granulate and recycled LDPE film, as well as bags made from PLA or cellophane.

Slider bags “Frosted Design” made of CPE film for textiles

Our slider bag is made of 80 or 100 µm thick CPE film with a matt, semi-transparent “frosted” finish.

Our slider bags, often referred to as zip-closure bags, are made from recyclable CPE film (cast polyethylene) and are easy to open and reclose multiple times thanks to the plastic slider. They are equally easy to handle for both right-handed and left-handed users.

Appearance & feel

It is also used as outer packaging for well-known fashion brands.

Matt "frosted" finish: semi-transparent and matt, unlike shiny or clear plastic bags.
Soft surface: The film has a soft feel.
Durable and dimensionally stable: The film does not crease, and the slider allows easy opening and re-closing without creases or tears.
Branding: Labels adhere well to the matt surface; printing available upon request.
Selection – eight formats up to 600 × 450 mm in 80 and 100 µm

Material & function

CPE film (cast polyethylene, cast PE film made from LDPE and LLDPE) combines several advantages: good flexibility, tear resistance, and a smooth, pleasant surface structure.
Slider (zip/slider): reclosable, for shipping textiles.
Protection against moisture, dust, and dirt for garments.

Recycling & disposal

Recyclability: The film, zip track, and slider are made entirely of polyethylene (PE monomaterial) – disposal via the yellow bin or recycling bag.
Reclosable: The slider can be opened and closed multiple times, e.g., for storage or returns.
