Two strongly adhesive strips with a tear perforation in between. Your customer needs neither scissors nor new packaging.
Made for the sorting system
Parcel sorting centres use fully automated conveyors and chutes. If the film is too smooth, the shipment slides away. If it is too abrasive, it jams. ECOMAILER meets DHL's friction coefficient requirements.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to register with LUCID if I use ECOMAILER?
For unprinted ECOMAILER bags that you purchase from us and use unchanged as mailing packaging, no. We make the bags available for the first time in Germany and are therefore considered the manufacturer under packaging law. We are registered in LUCID, report the quantities, and participate in the dual system.
What does the Blue Angel DE-UZ 30a mean?
The Blue Angel is the German federal government's environmental label. DE-UZ 30a applies to products made from recycled plastics and requires at least 80% post-consumer recycled material. ECOMAILER meets this requirement.
Is ECOMAILER reusable packaging?
ECOMAILER is built for outward and return shipping: the same bag accommodates the return. Legally, however, it remains single-use packaging because it does not circulate within an organised reusable system. This is also stated correctly in our declaration of conformity.
Does ECOMAILER work with all parcel delivery services?
Yes. The coefficient of friction is between 0.15 and 0.20 according to DIN EN ISO 8295 and meets DHL's requirement for automated sorting. This also makes the bags suitable for high shipping volumes.
How are the bags disposed of?
Via the Yellow Bag or Yellow Bin. The bag is made from a single plastic (PE-LD), and the adhesive strips simply remain attached.
Can I get ECOMAILER printed with my logo?
Customised productions are possible because we manufacture in Germany. However, with your logo on these bags, you yourself become the producer and manufacturer within the meaning of the PPWR. We will be happy to explain what this means. Make an enquiry
Can I send food in ECOMAILER?
No, ECOMAILER is not intended for direct contact with food. We have dedicated packaging with a declaration of conformity for food products.
